Painter 5.5

This image started out as a rough colour pencil drawing, which was not very good. However the basic shapes weren't too bad, so the image was scanned into Painter.

After a lot of reworking, over a period of a few days this image emerged. I am quite pleased with it. I believe it is one of the best images that I have created so far using Painter.

I am slowly learning more and more about this program. It has so much depth, I don't know if I will ever completely master it. However results like this, encourage me to try.

The original image is actually 2400 x 1800 pixels, with a Painter file of 15MB and a JPeg file size of just under 3MB. So there is obviously going to be some loss of quality, when reducing it down to a more manageable size for the web site.

Anyway, I hope you like it.
